Base Set
第1弾 拡張パック
The original Japanese Pokémon TCG release that started it all. Released in October 1996 exclusively in Japan, the Base Set introduced the world to Pokémon card collecting. Japanese Base Set cards are notably different from their English counterparts — they lack the 'Pokémon' copyright symbol, feature cleaner card backs, and were printed in smaller quantities. Holo cards from this set are among the most sought-after in all of Pokémon collecting.

Grading Notes
Japanese Base Set cards are highly susceptible to centering issues due to the printing process. PSA 10s command significant premiums. Look for clean corners and minimal print lines on holos.
